Welcome to Gan Rina

Gan Rina is a home-based program that is a fully licensed center under Maryland's office of childcare. Our goal is to combine the love, warmth and individual care of a Jewish home with the professional training, safety and extended hours of a licensed center.

Our overarching educational goal is to support the growth of self-regulation and awareness in each child in our care, to foster long term self-confidence, creativity, and resilience. This is achieved through process-based, experiential learning based on appropriate developmental guidelines and Jewish foundations in a Kosher environment.

What makes us unique is our commitment and dedication to the continuity of care in early childhood. One of the most critical needs of a child 0-3 years is that of continuity of care as it builds the foundations of trust in relationships and self-confidence for life. Our classrooms offer a 2-year program (2019-2021) of 0 to 2 and 2 to 4 with the same caregivers and similar environments according to the development of each child. 

Each staff member strives to continue their professional development with educational mentorship to create honest transparent relationships with parents while providing the best possible environment and support for their children.
