Yehudis Judith Levitan
Director
Mrs Yehudis Judith Levitan grew up in South Africa and began teaching in 2003. She realized her passion for education in her first year as a qualified harbor design civil engineer and re-enrolled in University to complete a post-graduate degree and certification in education of Secondary School Mathematics.
Soon after, Yehudis moved to New York where she continued teaching all ages from preschool to high school students. In 2014, she moved to Baltimore where she expanded her educational experience and taught all ages from infants through Elementary during her 5 years at Cheder Chabad, as well as lectured college math at Towson University.
She has completed numerous early childhood certifications in growth and development, infants, preschool and school-age as well as administration. Yehudis is currently a licensed Maryland teacher and recently graduated with a Masters degree in Special Education.

With a life long passion for education, Yehudis hopes to infuse Gan Rina with a passion for supporting each child according to their individual needs.

Overall view on Education: Any misbehavior is a child expressing an unmet need. Our job is to discover the unmet need and guide the child on how to express it constructively and appropriately.

Rina Freedman
Lead teacher of the 2-year-old classroom
Rina was born in Eretz Yisroel and moved to America as a young child. She graduated Bais Yaakov of Denver and went to Ateres Bnos Yerushalayim seminary in Israel. She then moved to Baltimore and over the last 7 years has had multiple titles in education ranging from Youth group leader, camp counselor, camp owner, and classroom teaching from internship to lead.
Rina completed her Montessori associates' certificate, education through the Age of Montessori program in 2015. She has worked in Montessori and Traditional preschools, both secular and Jewish. Rina has also completed many Maryland Early Childhood courses, including Infant-toddler, preschool, growth and development.
Rina tech-savvy and believes in the triangle of communication between parent, child, and teacher. To emphasize this she keeps parents posted through pictures, daily reports, and family communication. She speaks fluent Hebrew and introductory Spanish.

View on Education: Children can be guided on building self-regulation and independence through being surrounded by a positive nurturing growth environment, and respectful meaningful communication.
