2019 - 2020 Two's Class
The year a child turns two, has been scientifically proven to be one of the most formative years in a person’s entire life. It is characterized by the end of synapse creation in the brain and the beginning of strengthening of those which have been made. This is when a child begins to define their individual growth and development.

We strive to use this understanding of this crucial year to create an individualized curriculum to meet the development and interests of each child. With the Theme of Jewish holidays and some Parsha, we use Maryland Early Learning standards to support the development of the essential building blocks needed for individual long-term success, that we define as spiritual, emotional and social awareness and resilience.
Our classroom has a variety of different learning areas, such as sensory, art, imaginary, science, reading and construction. Our adjacent indoor gross motor room, connected to the classroom, allows the children to have the opportunity to climb and explore spatial orientation throughout the day.

We use a real kitchen on the main floor for baking and food projects to give a real home experience. The schedule allows for two (weather permitting) daily outdoor play sessions in our beautiful fully fenced area for outdoor play.
We also go on monthly field trips tallow the children to deepen their learning and bring it to life.
